These are custom treatments. No templates here.

No two bodies are the same, and neither are the treatments I provide. Your body has its own story - its history, challenges, and strengths - which is why every treatment plan is designed specifically for you.

How I create a custom treatment

  • Listening to understand, not just respond.

Creating a custom treatment starts by asking the right questions about your health history and how pain affects your daily life. But it doesn’t stop there.

The key is actively listening - not just to your answers, but to the details that provide insight into what your body is experiencing. By truly understanding your concerns, I can gather the information needed to uncover the root cause of your pain and guide my approach.

  • Mapping the pain to locate the root cause.

Pain is rarely straightfoward. While the root cause is often the primary focus, its just as important to identify the additional pain patterns that develop as your body compensates. I call this process “mapping”.

Mapping involves tracing the path of pain and pinpointing the key landmarks - areas where pain originates, radiates, or compensates. This process isn’t just about diagnosing; its about connection. Its the moment when we both agree that we’ve found your pain because we can feel it - I’m on it, following the exact path your body is communicating.

By understanding how these pain centers are connected, we can create a clear and shared understanding of what your body is experiencing.

  • Tailored treatment to relieve pain and restore function.

During treatment, the focus is on addressing the pain centers identified during mapping. The goal is to reduce pain at critical junctions, ease tensions at key points, ensuring we target the right areas with the most effective tools and techniques.

This is where precision matters. Whether its adjustmetns, massage, acupuncture, cupping, graston, stretching or exercises, the right approach is paried with the appropriate pain center to maximize results.

  • Open communication for lasting results.

Communication is key to making sure your treatment is as effective as possible. I’ll explain what I’ve found, the steps we’re taking, and how each part of your plan is designed to help you heal.

This is also your chance to share how you’re feeling, what’s working, and what still needs attention. Your input is invaluable - it ensures that we stay aligned on your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your plan.

The Details:

Adjustments

A quick release, often followed with an audible ‘pop’ that is painless and immediately satisfying. When your body and joints feel stiff or achy, movement feels restricted or limited in its full expression - this is when adjustments are integrated into treatment.

Massage.

Slow, purposeful pushing, pulling and lifting of muscles to increase movement and decrease pain. When you feel tense, movement feels painful, slow and laboured, needing to move or fidget to relieve discomfort - these are signs the muscles are in need of attention.

Acupuncture.

Thin, small, painless needles do all the work. When pain is deep, older injuries, numbness, tingling, or sensitive to touch - acupuncture helps to reach pain at its origin. All you have to do is relax and breathe.

Tools.

More tools, more healing. Some of the tools used during a session can include: graston, cupping, IFC, flossing, kinesiotape, and topical creams. We can use tools when we are working on smaller areas of the body, like wrists and ankles, or when we have to address larger areas all at once.
